Resistance - مقاومة | Arabic Poetry Art Print | ENJZ (Copy)

"سَأَقْلِبُ السُّكُونَ في كَلامِكِ ضَمَّة"
English: I will turn the silence in your words into an embrace.
This work is taken from a poem of resistance — not against a person, but against surrender itself. The speaker refuses the posture of the wounded, refuses to accept absence as a final condition, and instead imagines storming every fortress of the beloved, gathering an army of all those undone by a single glance. The resistance is not to push her away. It is to make her return.
The composition holds that tension visibly. Two forces — black and gold — move through each other without resolution, neither consuming the other. The parchment ground carries the texture of something written and rewritten, layered with the pressure of words that refused to stay silent. The flashes of red embedded in the dark forms are not decorative. They are the cost of not surrendering.
Available in multiple sizes from A4 to A0. Edition sizes: A4 (15), A3 (12), A2 (10), A1 (5), A0 (3). Each print is produced on archival-quality Hahnemühle fine art paper to preserve depth, texture, and tonal nuance.
ENJZ works with Arabic language as both meaning and material — original poetry written by hand, turned into visual works. The text in this piece is not transcribed or decorative. It was composed by the artist.
