This work explores the paradox at the heart of love — how tenderness and suffering are not opposites but companions, and how love does not remove pain but transforms our relationship to it.

The composition emphasises contrast, allowing certain words to emerge while others recede — mirroring the emotional imbalance within the text. The visual tension between presence and absence on the surface reflects the way love makes certain burdens more perceptible even as it makes them more bearable.
