This work explores the dialogue across time between Rumi and Shams of Tabriz — a meditation on spiritual friendship, loss, and the certainty that what is essential cannot be permanently extinguished.

The composition draws on the visual register of classical Persian and Arabic manuscript traditions while remaining entirely contemporary in its execution. The script carries both intimacy and magnitude — a private letter and a cosmic address simultaneously.
